Vintage flowers...

How beautiful do Suzy and Jon's flowers look displayed in our vintage teapots and cups and saucers? Clever and stylish Suzy hand picked each piece to go with her fabulous flowers.

And what a fantastic job she did! She chose flowers that were in season and picked out key colours with the crockery making stunning and original centerpieces for her tables.

To add to the loveliness Suzy piled up lots of yummy cup cakes on our tiered cake stands and scattered them around the tables for her lucky guests to tuck in to!

Everything looked just perfect! Well done and congratulations Suzy and Jon!

Love is in the air...

I found this folding heart table a couple of weeks ago at a vintage fair. It's perfect for displaying my new crockery sitting in the corner of my studio looking way too good to eat off!

This black and gold teapot adds a bit of cool sophistication to the collection and looks great with our new geometric patterned teacups. Mmmmm!

More new finds...

Sometimes I wonder how much longer I'll be able to find such lovely old pieces. After all these things aren't being made any more so they're going to have to run out one day. But until then I'll keep sharing these vintage beauties with you!

Picture perfect....

If you love vintage then it doesn't get more perfect than this! This style savvy bride created the most beautiful table settings with our crockery and completed the look with our fab name place tags.
Each setting finished with a cake made by Zoe Clark that honestly looks too good to eat!

The gorgeous designs on our plates are just so beautiful that they inspired us to create a series of name place cards that look divine when tied with vintage ribbon around the napkin and cutlery. We're even branching out and continuing the theme for invites, save the dates and thankyou cards!

Good luck girls!

The lovely girls at Lucy in Disguise are using our fabulous vintage crockery today at their press launch in their vintage clothing store in Covent Garden. The store and salon is the brainchild of super sibling duo Lily Allen and Sarah Owen, their aim being to make quality designer vintage style an attainable and affordable luxury for everyone!
Could there be a more perfect setting for our crockery? I don't think so!

So good luck girls and have a wonderful day!

Introducing....

...some lovely new teacups! These two are real gems - they're definitely choice pieces for the next lucky customer! I also found six of the most beautifully delicate 1950's black teacups, each with a different pastel colour inside. Sadly they were missing their original saucers so I'm going to be on the hunt for some that match.

Worth getting up early for....

I'd be lying if I said it doesn't hurt just a little bit getting up before the sun does most weekends purely so I can go on the hunt for new bits of vintage loveliness....but when you find gems like these, hell - it's worth it!

Yet again I've fallen in love with my new finds...be gentle with them if you have the good fortune (and good taste!) to hire them from us!

A new week, a new blog....

...a new way to share the fabulous new additions to The Crockery Cupboard's collection of beautiful vintage china! Also a perfect excuse to talk about all the other wonderful things that we just love to look at and coo over!
First off, a few divine pictures from our archive just to give you a taster of what's to come... I found some glorious crockery at the weekend that I'll post pictures of tomorrow!

 ...always pretty in pink!
